Anna's Room

I know that I have just posted a lot of posts so make sure that you scroll down and see the other new updates. This will be the last one for the day.

I have been slowly but surely working on getting Anna's room decorated. It was nice when Lauren was here because she was able to help me get decorations on the wall. My brother's family, Sean, Paula, and Kiki, gave us some awesome wall applique's that match Anna's crib bedding. They are so nice to have because with them we can decorate the walls without having to paint! Thanks guys!!!

I painted the letter's for Anna's name and used ribbion to hang them up over Anna's crib. I love it! : )

Cute Sunday Dresses

I love Sundays because it gives me a chance to dress up our little Anna in cute dresses and put cute bows on her. The first couple Sundays that we took her to church, we did not have any dresses that fit her, so she just went in a onesie. I felt bad so I went and got a couple of dresses for her to wear. I just love how cute she looks and could not pass up the opportunity to post some pictures.

Our Helpers

Like I mentioned in the previous post, Seth and I have been blessed to have a many helpers come and stay with us over the past couple of weeks. I thought that it would be fun to post pictures of them holding our little Anna. Thanks to every one of them for taking time out of their busy lives to help us welcome Anna into the Family. Here are our helpers....

My Mom was able to come for the first week for Anna's life. It was so wonderful to have her here. She was able to answer my many questions and was so kind to go grocery shopping for us and make meals that we could freeze so that we could have dinners quickly. This picture is of my mom and Anna, when Anna was just minutes old. Thanks Mom!!

Once my mom left, Lauren come to stay with us. She was very fun to have here and she helped me to keep the house in order. I am so glad that she was able to come. This is a picture of the classic "Sunday nap". Thanks Wa!!

After Lauren went home, Seth and I took our trip to Az. Once we returned home, Seth's Mom and brother come to help. Seth's mom was helpful because she helped us with grocery shopping and helped by holding Anna so that I could take showers and other things that needed to get done! Thanks Mona!!

Josh, Seth's brother, also came to help. He was a great helper. He made us meals, washed the clothes, and helped to keep the house in order. I am so glad that he was able to come, thanks Josh!
We miss the company of our helpers but Anna's baby blessing is on April, 11 and many family members will be traveling here to be apart of it. I can't wait to spend more time with family! : )

Our Baby is ONE MONTH OLD

Yesterday (Saint Patrick's day) our little Anna turned one month old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. We have been very blessed to have plenty of help from my mom, my sister Lauren, Seth's mom and Seth's bother. We have enjoyed their company and really appreciate their help. Now that they have all gone home, we are excited to fall back into our normal routines.

Sorry for the lack of posts. This month really has been busy and we have been taking the time to enjoy company and our little Anna. After my mom and Lauren left, Seth, Anna, and I packed up the car and headed to Arizona to attend a sealing for one of Seth's childhood friends. Anna was only 2 1/2 weeks old at that time. She was such a trouper during the long drive. However, she did not like it when we had to slow down for traffic. She was the happiest when we were going at least 65 miles an hour. Both Seth and I enjoyed showing her off to friends and family. We left Anna with Seth's aunt while we attended the sealing. I was a little nervous about leaving my baby for the first time but Seth's aunt said that she did very well even though it was her first time drinking from that bottle.
Ok, I have been asked by many people to post pictures of our little Anna. Here are some comparison pictures. I am comparing pictures from one week to pictures from one month. HERE they are:

First bath... Anna was not too thrilled about the sponge bath. I bet it was pretty cold.

These pictures were taken at one month in her "big girl's bath". She loves bath time now. She 'coos' the whole time she is in the warm water. Both of these pictures were so cute and I could not just pick one, so I added both.

Bunny and Anna at one week old.
Anna and Bunny at one month old. It is crazy to see how much she has changed. She is getting a lot longer and I am not sure if you can tell but her hair is getting lighter and has a tint of red to it.

Seth and I have decided that each month we are going to compare Anna and Seth to see how tall she is getting. Here are the first installments:

I hope that you have enjoyed seeing this post and looking at the pictures. I will try to keep the blog up to date. We love ya all.
