The Harp family is proud to present our newest member. She came to us abused and uncared for. The day we saw her we knew she was the one. A brilliant and succesful doctor told Katie he knew how to tend to the abused victim. With much time and love she could be on her feet in no time. After hours upon hours of backbreaking surgury, the doctor was able to get her feeling like a champ. She still has many more minor surguries down the road but we are told she will recover from her troubled past.

How many of you thought we were talking about a baby? Haha, I thought this would be an entertaining way to talk about our new car. We wanted to buy a bigger car for the baby. I was able to sell the Jetta one day and buy the Volvo V70R the next day. Since I, Seth Harp, am writing this blog I will now bore all you women with details about my pride and joy. This is a 1999 Volvo V70R. It is the top of the line V70 Volvo produced that year. It has around 260 horsepower and is all wheel drive. Can you belive they made a high performance station wagon? It has been my dream to own one. Katie is excited to drive a new car and also have extra room for the baby. I am excited to play with the new car at work, when its not busy.

Yay for a bigger car! It's pretty.
ReplyDeleteYEAH!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Katie! Way to finally sell the Jetta. Katie must be so excited. Loved he way to talked about the car. Very creative.
ReplyDeleteHaving a bigger car must be so nice. I hope I get to experience that some day...
ReplyDeleteSean says "at least it is better then most popular car for adult gay men aka the red jetta."

Nice addition. I'm sure you are a proud papa! Just wait until you have a baby.
ReplyDeleteI"m so excited for you guys! My first car was a Volvo wagon - really old and beat up - but I loved it. They're so safe. I really wish we were lucky enough to get a car like that! Have fun with your new baby and be grateful this one doesn't wake you up at night :)
ReplyDeleteWorking on the car is all Fine n Dandy until it cuts into golf time. Dude... how many times do I have to tell you? Set your Priorities Straight! Keep that in mind when the baby comes around...j/k!
ReplyDeleteBoring!!! My car....blah blah blah....big engine....blah blah blah....all wheel drive...blah blah blah. The wheels on my car go around too. :-p (that is the universal sign for tongue-in-cheek) Ok, it is a cute car. What is that they say about Volvos? They're boxy, but they are safe. Yeah for keeping your family safe! Katie will look very cute behind the wheel. Good buy!
